My little ones crave "their" one on one time with Mommy. It's hard sometimes to find special time in today's fast-paced world, but one way we find our connection at home is that of helper. Each child has a special job for the evening, and the job rotates to avoid monotony and for each child to have a chance to shine in a particular area. Hands down the favorite is the cooking helper. Whether it's Jello, Mac n Cheese, Spaghettios or a pie, they love to be the one to stir, measure, pour, and create. "Look what I made!" Best of all, they love serving and watching others enjoy the dish they helped prepare.
